On Saturday two Shia Muslims living in Karachi’s western district were kidnapped and killed by militants from the militant group Sipah-e-Sahaba. In this attack Syed Naeem Jafari and Jafar Abbas were kindnapped along with a friend of theirs and taken to the Moachko area of the city where the kidnappers shot them in the head.

Sipah-e-Sahaba claimed responsibility for another attack as a 15 year old boy was shot and killed in Kohat City in the Khyber-Pukhtoonkhwa (KP) province of Pakistan on Sunday. 2015 has started off as a bloody year for Shia in Pakistan after almost 1,000 Shia civillians were killed in 2014. While Sipah-e-Sahaba has claimed responsibility for the attacks over the weekend, no arrests have been made in relation to these shootings.
